Beef and Beer 2017

The beef and beer will be held on Saturday, January 28th at Whitman Square Fire Hall. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door per person.

Practice begins on Monday, November 14th!

Highland Junior Wrestling’s 2016/2017 season begins on Monday, November 14th.

There is a mandatory Parent meeting the first week of practice – two available to attend.
Monday, November 14th or Tuesday, November 15th at 6:00 pm. Even if your child is still playing football and not able to start practice, we expect you to attend one of these meetings to get all of the latest information for the season.

Practice is held in the Auxiliary Gym at Highland High School. (Entrance by tennis courts)
Practice will be two nights a week with final times and days will be determined when we have a full room. Our CURRENT Practice schedule will be:

• Monday and Wednesday – 6:00 pm – Ages 4-6 (Tots)
• Tuesday and Thursday – 6:00 pm – Ages 7-14

(NO practice Nov 23 or Nov 24)

Return any singlets or donate wrestling shoes the 1st week of practice!

Please take the following steps today to make sure you get any text blasts.
1. Send a text to: 40404
2. The body of the text should read: Follow HJWrestling
3. Wait for confirmation saying “You are now following HJWrestling”

You will get raffles to sell. These are due with full payment no later than December 14, 2016. PLEASE return these tickets on time with full payment. For example, if we gave you 100 raffles, we need 100 filled out stubs and $100. $150 if you have two wrestlers and $175 if you have three or more wrestlers. Please get your raffle tickets on Nov 14 or Nov 15 so you have time to sell them.

Your child will need to have headgear and wrestling shoes. Headgear can be purchased at any Sporting Goods Store. We do get wrestling shoes donated each year from returning wrestlers, so there is a possibility we may be able to give you shoes. Please let us know your child’s name and shoe size if this is something you may be interested in, and you can have your child practice in socks the first few days. We cannot guarantee what sizes we will have available.
